Overdoing it ?

Recently I read a blog post by a dear friend where he was talking about this attorney opposing GTA . This attorney is a Christian ... One of my friends posted a comment about this as "Christians overdoing it"

Let's get things straight . GTA is one of the most violent/"EVIL" game ever .

First , the definition of evil . Evil isn't an element or a "thing" , like darkness , it is simply the lack of good , and darkness isn't an element , it's simply the lack of light . Credits to Jeremy Lim .

Well here are my thoughts , I've played GTA , and yes , it's violent , but so are other games . I don't oppose it so badly though , it's a mere game , as long as you don't get engrossed or get influenced . Look , I know about this boy with the initials of DT , LOTS , and I mean LOTS of people look down on him , firstly , it's because of his height , secondly , he WAS really perverted and very destructive , Video games did play a big role in his life , he was always talking about video games... and the influences on him were obvious . But look , God created all men , he knew all of you people before you people were physically created , he placed a conscience in all of you , as you were created as an image of himself . Back to the topic , DT was a really violent boy , he was also kinda perverted , some of the Church people looked down on him...But look , everyone , is loved by HIM , and created as an image of HIM , When I was in trouble , and depressed last time , this DT boy , he would reveal his soft side in a little humorous violent way , but yet , it was shocking to me . Someone people thought who had no hope , could be such a nice guy . . .
I'm going off topic . Anyway , to play games like GTA , I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you be physically and mentally matured , and the best of all is spiritually , before touching these kinda of games , especially with teenagers at the age of 19 thinking that they can do as they do in the video games. . .

Anyway , I'm no pastor , I don't know alot . But if you really do care whether you're doing the right thing , just pray . You will get an answer . . .
