Just makes leaves me awestruck .

Okay okay , so my parents bought me a set of Elixir strings that costs around Rm60 .

While going through the basic procedures , especially the pulling out the peg part , I realized that when I pulled out the peg for my low E string , it snapped into half , with the other half stuck inside .

The nut and the bridge ALSO fell off because there were to strings to create tension on it .

I paniced . My father refused to even the suggestion of getting a new guitar , so he helped me take the other half of the peg out .

Okay skip everything until now , with some quick thinking , I managed to use the peg anyway by stuffing the first half in , then the second half .

A few videos on youtube also helped me with my restringing .

Alas , I was successful .

Yay .

Elixir strings DO sound really great , and I can play an F with it now .
