That was the topic for today's session , it was conducted by Ps.Isaac ...Pastor or elder...I forgot .
Today was the first day that I tried to take notes during a session , I tried doing it at camp but didn't really know how . (Was encouraged by my cousin from SG , so that I would not fall asleep during sermons . That and being able to recall...)
Here's what I managed to note down .
1. You can stay spiritually alert...
by practicing fervent prayer . (speaker referred to Isaiah 38 :1-6)
by guarding against pride . (Is.39:1-2)
by considering long term consequences (Is39:5-8)
2.Actions that would cause long term consequences .
1.Excessive debt (Ah long, credit cards..)
2.Lax bible study (Making some mistakes when it comes to spreading the gospel?)
3.Lack of exercise (obesity ...)
4.Praying only when something is needed . (God isn't your last source of security , he's everything . )
5.Studying only at the last minute (Woops...I was the only guy laughing then ...)
The verses mentioned above mostly talked about King Hezekiah , the son of King Ahaz , he ruled Judah during 715-686 B.C . He brought religious reforms to Judah...destroyed places of idolatry etc. etc. He was one of those "okay" kings of Israel . One day God told him that he was going to die , and he went to the wall and prayed and told God how he always followed him etc.etc. God told Isaiah to tell King Hezekiah that he has heard his(King Hezekiah) prayer , and will add 15 years to his life .
After his healing , the spirit of God withdrew from King Hezekiah to test him , eventually , King Hezekiah got arrogant and did not consider the long term consequences of his action . Something about everything in the kingdom of Israel being carried away to Babylon and Israel into exile...didn't focus much on this part .
Well JoJo didn't come , so if you need the notes Joseph , feel free to take it .

Going for another Guitar "TRIAL" (Gosh , am I that unqualified ? ) Possibly getting a guitar that doesn't cost RM3000 . Later on going to this place called "Tenji" for my Birthday dinner . Happy Birthday to me I guess .
In case you didn't know , I have been trying to take up the guitar since last year until today , my dad kept delaying ...
